Alan sets the final story in motion at the motel and abandoned oil derelict. This time (the third time is the charm) he manages to complete the story as he intends. He is able to save Emma on this last attempt, she helps out, having a fuzzy recollection of their two previous encounters… now it’s on to the Mount Red Hook Observatory.
