Corvo awakens from his sleep filled with a dream-like meeting with the Outsider. He uses
some of his new-found powers to explore the surrounding area and find some relics for future use. Soon he is talking with Havelock and taking a mission to assassinate the Regeant. Corvo agrees to try and spare Callist’s Uncle, Capt Curnow of the city watch. Before carrying out his task Covro surveys some of the surrounding areas and meets a strange old woman going by the name Granny Rags. Corvo agrees to look into some troubles with a local gang, but suspects Gran might have some ulterior motives.
