Alan sets the final story in motion at the motel and abandoned oil derelict. This time (the third time is the charm) he manages to complete the story as he intends. He is able to save Emma on this last attempt, she helps out, having a fuzzy recollection of their two previous encounters… now it’s on to the Mount Red Hook Observatory. We are tasked with finding more pieces of the Star Forge and given several planets to choose from. Our crew heads for the Wookie planet of Kashyyyk. Before exiting the Ebon Hawk, we investigate and find a young stowaway speaking a strange dialect. On Kashyyyk there isn’t much of a welcoming party. Turns out that Czerka corporation slavers and Sith infest the planet, in some sort of agreement with a local Wookie leader. This leader … Continue reading →

Artyom takes the train with his sniper companion. Their goal is to eliminate the the last Dark One, who somehow escaped the nuclear blast. Khan has warned against this, but he is now in custody. The sniper plays spot and she and Artyom take out some Watchmen before spotting the Dark One. He gives chase and instead runs into the Nazis. Metro Last Light Part 2 – Train to the Past

The intro sequence for Metro Last Light aka Metro 2034 the sequel to surprise hit Metro 2033 a game that despite it’s flaws oozed atmosphere and had an interesting story. The sequel is more of the same, and also more of the system/graphics card destroying lack of optimization. Alan returns to the Mount Redhook Observatory for the third and presumably final time after correcting the story in the town. As before the layout outside of the observatory has changed and the scientist remembers our past attempts to fix the narrative. Once again with some help Alan gets it right.
