XCOM Enemy Unknown Missions Part 2 – Operation Soaring Grave

Our squad heads out to check a lander enemy craft in the woods. Short after they make their initial approach towards the enemy landing spot they encounter a new type of enemy. The ‘Floater’ is a perfect mix of alien and machine. They are lucky enough to capture one alone before proceeding to the craft. After setting up assault positions, part of the squad is flanked by the surprise emergence of a group of Thin Men. Rookie Netzel is gunned down. Rookie Sevier who already had two kills on the mission surviving poisoning only to take a critical hit from a Thin Man. We lost two brave rookies today.
