Outlast Walkthrough – Part 1 – Security w/ Commentary James Schumacher, April 13, 2014April 17, 2014 “Outlast is a survival horror video game developed and published by Red Barrels” Our goal is find the security room and unlock the front door to make our exit from this evil place… however, nothing is ever that simple. We search for a keycard to the security door and begin to attempt an escape, revealing some of our most terrifying adversaries in the process. Via viewer request I started a playthrough of Outlast. I am used to being able to take a very slow approach to these types of horror games, but it seems Outlast’s goal is to make you run in fear a lot of the time. Hiding works for awhile, but to get past enemies you will have to run.
