Outlast is a horror/survival game minus the shooting or melee combat gameplay. You are on a mission to investigate possible abuses/strange happenings at a mental institution. Armed with a notebook and a camera you make your way past the empty guardhouse and through the front gates, only to find the asylum’s front entrance locked. Traversing a worker’s scaffolding on the west side of the building you make your way into the darkness of the building… but you’ll soon wish you hadn’t.
