Emerging from Doc Mitchell’s Courier sees the sun and the small town of Goodsprings for the first time. He meets Victor, who dug him out of his grave, Chet at the supply store and Easy Pete outside of the Saloon.

Inside the Saloon he meets Sunny Smiles who gives him directions and info on the area. She suggest he check out the abandoned schoolhouse. Inside, Courier deals with some mantis before using his computer hacking skills to get into a vault and doing some salvage.
