Alfred Woden invites Payne to his manor for a meeting of the mysterious inner circle. He’s given a job: kill Nicole Horne, proponent of the Valhalla project and murderer of Max’s family.
The meeting is a ruse to take out the rest of the council and leave Woden alive, but Max is still in one piece and looking to finish the job.
