Splinter Cell Blacklist is the sixth game in the series and a semi-reboot, though basically a direct sequel to Conviction. It features new gameplay mechanics and different voice actors and characters. Most Notably Michael Ironside has been replaced as the voice of lead protagonist Sam Fisher. Our game opens with a group infiltrating a military base and executing the soldiers. Their mission is termed as Blacklist. Meanwhile on the otherside of the base Sam Fisher and friend Victor Coste are prepping a mission. The munitions depot explodes as Sam and Victor ride in a helicopter, forcing them to crash… and the action begins as they make their escape from the wreckage.
