Sleeping Dogs is all about creating a believable game world for the protagonist to operate within. Originally True Crime Hong Kong, Sleeping Dogs does a wonderful job of nailing the Hong Kong vibe.
If you’re a connoisseur or even casual viewer of Hong Kong action flicks, you will recognize the setting and the atmosphere right away. The sound design goes a long way towards making everything “feel” right. But what would an open world game be with out a strong selection of music for you to listen to as you drive madly through the streets for fun and during missions? The game designers have done an excellent job of carrying their design aesthetic through to the music, both in the original score pieces and the licensed soundtrack selections, including some authentic music authentic, contemporary music from Hong Kong. When an official Sleeping Dog Soundtrack is released, it will be listed here, for now, check out the Sleeping Dogs music list below. As always, overtime I will add iTunes and/or Amazon links as they are found over time. There are two pages of music, so *don’t forget to click the link for page 2*!
Sleeping Dogs Music List
Here is the complete (as has been announced so far) Sleeping Dogs licensed music list. An impressive collection of songs and genres. Starting to add iTunes links, creating custom iMix playlists for each station linked on the station name, will create a full iMix for all tracks soon.
