This segment betters shows off some of the texture upgrades, including the flora and fauna and the Nevada skies.

Courier takes Doc’s advice and meets up with Sunny who shows him some pointers on shooting and gives him a Varmint Rifle to use. She then offers to let him go with her as she clears out some geckos from the nearby water supplies, which feed Goodspring with rad-free water.

The manage to clear out the geckos without much trouble and save a townswoman in the process. Sunny then offers to teach Courier about creating supplies out of ingredients, which he gathers from the cemetery where his journey started.
