Looper Soundtrack from Found Sounds

New Looper poster, details on the film’s unique score – FLIXIST

I’ve had my eye on Looper for quite some time. I try to watch anything with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in it. His acting is top-notch; such a long way from his comical beginnings in youth as Tommy on 3rd Rock from the Sun.  The interest narrative structure that the film is projecting carries into its music and sound design. As you’ll see in these videos through he link above, the compose explains how they used “found” sounds as base for the musical score. The went to places like Home Depot and various garages to grab sounds. The drums on the tracks are various doors, mostly cars, slamming.
