Nostalgia Alert. Good Stuff

A Tribute to Old Video Game Maps

Ah the Video Game Map. It used to be that almost every good game came with an in-depth color manual and usually a map of some sort. The Nostlagia is strong now.  Check out this article from Kotaku with a small selection of vintage videogame maps, including ones like this gem below, Ultima VII – Part Two. For many of us in the 80s and 90s this only increased the story-telling and inspired us to attempt to draw maps of our own. The original site has been bombarded with hits and appears to be down right now.
