Sleeping Dogs – Part 17 – Chain of Evidence

Before heading to the Club and Tiffany, Wei stops by the martial arts school to return a statue and learn a new move. Later at the club Tiffany has a gun that she needs to get rid of, belonging to one of Dogeyes’ crew. Wei contacts Raymond to arrange a meet.

Instead of Raymond, Pendrew shows up at the meet point. He has Shen recreate the scene that supposedly killed a man in a nearby car. Pendrew walks Wei through the crime scene step-by-step. At the end Pendrew uses the weapon to fire on the dead man. Wei doesn’t understand, but has to leave before the police arrive.

This was a very cool way to walk the player through new mechanics that they haven’t experienced yet: firearms, cover, shooting from cover and vaulting.over cover with slow-motion shots.
