Updates from the previous Terminator Mod post. Progress on the Terminator mod for the Unreal III engine continues, and things are looking great. Check out a video of the gameplay from Los Angeles 2029 area map area of the game below.

Los Angeles Gameplay (WIP) video – Mod DB

I think what impresses me the most about what I have seen so far are the excellent particle effects and lighting. This Terminator mod is making full use of the goodness that the Unreal 3 engine has to offer. The gameplay video show the strength of their environments. Of course, I’m a sucker for good film score, so using the authentic Terminator music is a big plus for me. Poking around on their ModDB page, the Terminator mod is coming along pretty well. They are working on animations and a whole bunch of levels and features as they prep for the alpha 1.01 release. It should also be noted that many of the videos feature some original score work, which is actually party original score, part remix more than anything. Still, it seems to fit well with the world of Terminator. Stay tuned for more Terminator mod for Unreal 3 news. I will try to keep things updated as they add more stuff to this promising total conversion mod.
