Luckily the series is back in some good hands (at least on the tactical side) with XCOM Enemy Unknown coming shortly. I love the original, and I don’t mind Terror from the Deep, though it is ridiculously difficult and I never quite finished it. The other entries were not so good and there have been many knock-offs based on the original that never quite made it.
