Hey all, I published a small set of Photos from my recent coast trip finally. Didn’t get as many shots as I would have liked, but used a lot of duplicates to composite a few high-res images. The published gallery is here Oregon Coast Photography – 2010 . If it would be great if you started there to have a look. But if you do or not, come back to this post and you can check out the Oregon Coast Photo gallery below. The thumbnails will lead you to much higher resolution images than the published gallery! Let me know if you guys like any of these shots.

Oregon Coast Haystack Rock

Picture 1 of 7

So, I may have already mentioned it.  But the Oregon Coast was and is becoming again my favorite place.  The air does me good, and doesn’t feel so bad to go solo at the coast where everything and everyone is insignificant compared to the great expanse and strength that is the sea.  There are some great spots on the the north coast, but by far the middle coast and then southern coast have some truly beautiful areas.

My shots didn’t turn out as well as I would have liked, but there were some issues with my manual controls not working properly and I am very rusty as well.  It may be time to upgrade as the old Kodak is showing it’s age, if not in the megapixels (which don’t really matter too terribly) then surely in the image stabilization at long zoom area.  I also miss solid, affordable digi-cams with long exposure times.  Next time I will remember by tripod.  Hope you guys enjoy these, there will be more to come in near future if I can manage it.
