Remember Me – Capcom’s New IP James Schumacher, August 14, 2012August 14, 2012 Capcom’s Watch Dog-esque New IP – Remember Me Capcom Announces Remember Me – IGN Capcom revealed a new IP today and it’s got a good buzz going. All of this big news is coming out actually ahead of the true opening of Gamescom in Germany. There have been many comparisons to Watch Dogs and I understand where they come from. Tech and Data readouts free-flowing with the game architecture via overlay certainly matches that kind of mechanic. However the real thing that sets Remember Me apart is the “Memory replacement” mechanic. Watch the full 7 minute gameplay video through IGN to get a taste of what this game may be able to deliver. Very intriguing and unique gameplay mechanic. The visual do not match Watch Dogs, but not much has thus far.
