Capcom’s Watch Dog-esque New IP – Remember Me

Capcom revealed a new IP today and it’s got a good buzz going. All of this big news is coming out actually ahead of the true opening of Gamescom in Germany. There have been many comparisons to Watch Dogs and I understand where they come from. Tech and Data readouts free-flowing with the game architecture via overlay certainly matches that kind of mechanic. However the real thing that sets Remember Me apart is the “Memory replacement” mechanic. Watch the full 7 minute gameplay video through IGN to get a taste of what this game may be able to deliver. Very intriguing and unique gameplay mechanic. The visual do not match Watch Dogs, but not much has thus far. This game was originally shown very briefly the year before under the title Adrift.
