Boardwalk Empire Season 2 – Trailer & Cast News

James Schumacher, June 27, 2011September 26, 2011

The season has started, begin with Boardwalk Empire Season Two Episode One Recap and check for new recaps following every Sunday episode.

Boardwalk Empire Season 2 Trailer

Check out this awesome teaser of Season Two of Boardwalk Empire.

Things are looking crazy in Atlantic City and New York. Looks like Michael Pitt’s Jimmy is going continue to bite the hand that feeds and go against Nucky (Steve Buscemi). It also looks as if Dabney Coleman’s “Commodore” is fully against Nucky now too. We know that Nucky won’t go down without a fight and he says they’re all going down! This is a great teaser for season two which will be airing this fall on HBO.

Boardwalk Empire Season 2 Casting News

As you can see from the trailer, Richard Harrow, played by Jack Huston is still around and word is that he has been upgraded to cast regular. How much screen time he’ll get isn’t a sure thing, but I know I found the character of injured vet turned sniper/assassin one ofBoardwalk Empire - William Forsythe the more interesting characters in the latter portion of season one. All the regulars (the surviving ones anyway) will be coming back including Stephen Graham’s brilliant Al Capone. Joining the character for season two will be brothers Frank and Ralph.

Another Capone is joining the cast as well, but this comes in the form of quality character actor William Forsythe who took a turn playing Al Capone in The Untouchables, which was adapted from the Kevin Costner / Sean Connery motion picture. Forsythe’s character name is reported to be Manny Horovitz, a Philadelphia-based gangster.

The final bit of casting news is for the role of Bugsy Siegel, or Benny as he will be known on the show (Siegel didn’t start going by Bugsy until much later in his “career”), will be played by Michael Zegan. Zegan’s most recent work of note was a recurring character on the Denis Leary led Rescue Me.

Boardwalk Empire Season 2 has some quality cast additions and it looks like the fireworks are set to fly with this latest trailer, just in time for the 4th of Jully. Season 2 of Boardwalk needs to hurry up and get here.
